Webinar - Intelligent Water Management: Unlocking Measurable Water Savings & Reducing Risk

Monday, June 29, 2026 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

This webinar explores how intelligent water management is expanding the scope of ESPCs by introducing measurable water efficiency and risk reduction opportunities. It will cover how advanced metering and leak detection technologies enable greater visibility into water usage; support verified savings and strengthen performance guarantees. Attendees will learn how water related risks - such as leaks, equipment failures, and untracked consumption - can be quantified and mitigated. The session will highlight how these strategies help ESCOs deliver more comprehensive, data driven infrastructure improvements beyond traditional energy measures.

Presenters:

Candice Pranckh, Strategic Partnerships, Intelligent Conservation Systems, LLC, Jay Holstead, National Sales Manager, Intelligent Conservation Systems, LLC, and Conrad Jahrling, Solutions Engineering Manager, Intelligent Conservation Systems, LLC

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain how intelligent water management systems, including advanced metering and submetering, enable more accurate measurement and verification of water consumption within the Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs)
  2. Identify key sources of water waste and operational inefficiency in commercial and institutional buildings and evaluate how they impact total lifecycle cost and ESPC project economics.
  3. Describe how leak detection and automated shutoff technologies reduce operational and financial risk by preventing property damage, service disruptions, and unplanned maintenance costs.
  4. Assess how water efficiency measures can be integrated into ESPC frameworks to expand project scope, improve savings certainty, and support broader sustainability and resilience goals.

NAESCO has submitted this webinar to the AIA for 1 CEU approval.

NOTE: Beginning in 2023, all NAESCO webinars will be offered to all attendees at no cost. Recordings and slides will be available to members only, after the webinar.
